What's in Webberville?

The answer.....nothing.

This week, Ashley and I decided to get together and discuss our birthday plans for this year. Since we are turning 25, her, Nat and I want to go on a trip! Anyway, we decided to try to meet halfway. That ends up being Webberville, MI. Now the problem is, this town is tiny. We were looking for Wi Fi. So what did we end up doing? Going to lunch at a small town diner and then hot chocolate at McDonalds. So here is this week's pic (a little late):

Sloths and Kangaroos

It's restaurant week in Ann Arbor! It happens twice a year where a bunch of restaurants have deals (like a three course meal for a discounted price, or two for one meals) to try to bring in new customers. So Shelly, Pat and I went to a restaurant called Melange downtown. It was good, a nice environment. They had a bunch of martinis to choose from. I got one called L.J's Nectar. I decided I also don't like the word "nectar". Neck-tar, neck-tar.....bla.

Anywho, Shelly and I had dinner and Pat had his vegan stuff ;) But somehow during dinner we were talking about Pat's work. This week they were having some animals come in: a kangaroo and a sloth and stuff! CRAZY!! But here is a picture of the kangaroo and sloth:

But Pat isn't doing a very good sloth, so here is another one:

I'd say that he's pretty close!

Some things I am thankful for especially during the winter: heated mattress pads, hot showers, hot chocolate, my Keurig, fireplaces, soft blankets, days you can stay inside and not have to brave the frigidness that is outside.

Least Favorite Word, But Hilarious

Little enjoyment of the week. See it's not just me who hates this word:

Week One

So here is week one of my resolution.

Saturday I went over to Shelly's. We went out to the Heidelburg in A2. It's this old German bar/restaurant. You can get boots of beer there. Literal glass boot cup that they fill with beer.

We did not get one of those. Instead, we came home and did Just Dance 2 and Zumba on the Wii. Here is a taste of how awesome it was.

Had a good time hanging out with friends. As you can tell, I now have great blackmail material. mwahahaha!

Another Resolution?

So I guess this isn't another resolution, but instead its addendum to my previous resolution of taking more pictures. I am going to do a picture a week. So I will have 52 pictures per year! Maybe I will even make a picture book every year! How fun would it be to have a picture book of every year of your life to look back at? Especially because I feel like the last couple years have flown by. I wish I would have done this before because it's the little things that make the year and it's so hard to remember all those little things.

So moral of the story, here is my picture for this week: My christmas tree and village for this year. It is still up and I am dreading taking it down because

A. That means that the holidays are over and

B. I have to pack up all my Christmas stuff, which is a huge pain.

I think I will start that project on Sunday....

I decided to restart this blog. And it's 2011! Wow, 4 years later!

Resolution for 2011: take more pictures

I am also going to try to think of things that I enjoy in life. Stupid things, little things, random things.

Today's enjoyment: spending time with friends during the Holidays. Being able to see those people you love and don't get to see as often as you would like during this wonderful time of year is just amazing.
